Support for DishDoc

Email with "DishDoc" in the subject line for product help, bug reports, feature requests, or privacy questions. We aim to reply within two business days.

What To Include

App Details

  • DishDoc version (Settings → About, or the App Store listing)
  • iPhone model and iOS version

What Happened

  • What you were doing (sharing a link, scanning a page, editing, groceries)
  • Any visible error message
  • Whether you were on Wi-Fi or cellular

Import Questions

  • The link you shared (so we can reproduce it)
  • What DishDoc extracted vs. what the video or page actually says
  • For scans: whether the page was printed or handwritten

Good To Know

Extraction is careful but not perfect — quantities occasionally need a human eye. Every imported recipe is editable (tap Edit on the recipe), and the original video or page is always one tap away for fact-checking.

Importing new recipes needs an internet connection. Your saved library, collections, and grocery list work fully offline. If an import fails mid-way, the link is kept and retried the next time you open the app — nothing is lost.

Some posts can't be imported: private accounts, deleted videos, and sites that block automated readers. DishDoc will tell you when that's the case.
